Unlocking the Potential Path Towards NAAC Accreditation

The Quality Cell of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College hosted an induction program titled “Unlocking the Potential Path Towards NAAC Accreditation” on 25th March 2024 @ 9.30am. Dr.G.Vairavel, Dean(Academics and Educational Initiatives), SRM Group of Institutions, Trichy, served as a resource person. The Dean engaged participants with interactive discussions, focusing on current educational trends and the evolving framework of NAAC accreditation through activities, and attendees explored various world ranking forums such as QS World University Rankings,  Times Higher Education and more. The Dean explorated all the NAAC criteria, its manual, key indicators, benchmarks and SoP’s. The session also embraced the jigsaw method, fostering active group participation and knowledge sharing among the team members. The session was specifically involved in staff members forming an NAAC criteria group. Each criterion group presented the key indicators, metrics for the criteria, QlM and QnM for the criteria with weightage of marks. Finally the Principal exercised with the formed criterion group and brought the insight of all 7 NAAC criteria with a brainstorming session and specifically identified the faculty in charge for every criteria and created the roadmap for the submission of NAAC SSR during October 2024.
