Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell is committed to nurturing and developing entrepreneurial skills experientially among the students’ community. The EDC is to mold entrepreneurial thinking in our students and to create a business opportunity in and out of the campus with great stability to achieve social and economic progress through entrepreneurship. The EDC is a dedicated platform aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills among students. Through a series of workshops, seminars, and networking events, the EDC provides students with opportunities to enhance their business acumen, develop their entrepreneurial mindset, and gain practical experience in the world of entrepreneurship.

Major focus of EDC

  • Skill Development: The EDC offers workshops and training sessions to enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills, including idea generation, business planning and pitching.
  • Mentoring and Guidance:  Students have access to experienced mentors who provide guidance and support in refining business ideas and strategies.
  • Networking opportunities: The EDC organizes networking events, guest lectures and industry interactions to connect students with professionals and potential collaborators.
  • Incubation support:  The EDC assists students in incubating their start-up ideas, providing resources and infrastructure to kick start their entrepreneurial journey.
  • Innovation and creativity:  The EDC encourages innovative thinking and creativity among students, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and out of the box problem solving.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset:  Through various initiatives, the EDC aims to instill an entrepreneurial mindset in students, empowering them to identify opportunities and take calculated risks.
