The C.K.Prahalad Management Association of the Department of Management Studies, SRM Trichy Arts and Science College organized An Intra-Collegiate Event titled “BizFusion” on 25.09.2024 & 26.09.2024.

The following events were conducted:

  1. Crossword Puzzles
  2. HR Scenario Challenge
  3. Branding Challenge
  4. Picture Tales

1. Crossword Puzzles – 25.09.2024

Method: Teams are presented with set of puzzles in which the members has to fill in the white squares of a grid with letters, words, or phrases to solve clues and complete the puzzle.

Skills: Logical thinking, expand vocabulary, active participation.

Students found it interesting and useful.

Students of I B.Sc., AIML won the First Prize.

  1. HR Scenario Challenge-25.9.2024

Method: Teams are presented with HR-related scenarios (e.g., an underperforming employee or an internal conflict). They must come up with solutions and present them to the judges.

Skills: Human resources management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

Students found it improving their critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Students of II and III B. Com CA won the First Prize.

Dr. G. Ilango, Vice Principal Admin served as Judge and assessed the performance of students

  1. Picture Tales

Method: Participant will be presented a picture on the display and he / she is encouraged to use their imagination to create stories based on pictures.

Skills: Imagination, creativity, speaking, storytelling skills.

Students found it thrilling and improving their creativity.

Student of III B. Com won the First Prize.

Mr. N. R. Sakthivel, Head, Department of Tamil served as Judge and assessed the performance of students

  1. Branding Challenge

Method: Teams are given a generic product (like a pen or water bottle) and must create a brand name, slogan, and marketing strategy for it.

Skills: Creativity, marketing, and branding.

Students found it improving their branding skills.

Students of I B. Com won the First Prize.

Dr. S. Fabioyala Kavitha, Vice Principal Academic served as Judge and assessed the performance of students. The Principal Dr. G. Senthilkumar appreciated the students for participation and winning. The Department of Computer Science and Application has won the Overall Winning Certificate.  The Head of the Department Dr.R.Selvakumari convened the events. Ms.Hem Saundharya R, Ms. Litvina S, Mr.Navin, P, Ms. Lakshana B  of III BBA coordinated the events.
