FROM STUDENT TO CEO NAVIGATING THE PATH TO SUCCESS

Institution Innovation Council (IIC) jointly with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College organized an Interactive Seminar on 30/07/2024 titled “Navigating the path to success.” Dr. G. Senthilkumar, Principal of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College, and Dr. S. Fabiyola Kavitha, Vice-Principal (Academic), delivered felicitation addresses, urging students to become job providers rather than job seekers. Mr. R. Kalaiselvan Founder and CEO of KAKO Media, Trichy is the Resource Person of the Seminar who is an alumnus of the institution. He has completed his B.Com degree in 2021-2024 batch. The main objective of the seminar is to motivate the students to the business world where in they can become self-employed. One such student who has been motivated to become an independent entrepreneur to start his own business is the resource person. The seminar was very useful with much information. Presenter was very knowledgeable and offered valuable information and tips. He elaborated the strategy in Start -Up, Incubation and the progress of entrepreneurship as well the bottlenecks in a Start-Up Business and the solutions to overcome. While focusing the education, networking, experience, learning and leadership, individuals can successfully navigate the path from being a student to becoming a CEO. Hard work, dedication and perseverance are key ingredients for achieving success in this journey. The speaker was very articulate and knowledgeable and the energized the students with interest throughout the session. More than 100 Students who are passionate towards startups and Innovation have been invited as participants. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, followed by vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M. Uma Maheswari, the convenor of the program.
