Mental Health Awareness Program

On October 3, 2024, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) at SRM Trichy Arts and Science College held a Mental Health Awareness Program for female students in the Seminar Hall. The event aimed to enhance awareness of mental health and promote gender equality. Ms. A. Parkavi (II B. Com) welcomed participants, followed by an introduction of the Resource Person Dr. I.D. Dana Prabagaran. The program included an engaging presentation on mental health strategies, interactive meditation, and a participatory game. Key takeaways focused on prioritizing mental health and coping mechanisms. Around 100 second- and third-year students participated in the program. Dr. G. Ilango, Vice Principal of Administration, and Dr. G. Udhayaraj, HOD of Commerce, honored the resource person. The ICC team expressed gratitude to Dr. Danaprabagaran, the Principal, and the management for successfully conducting the event and thanked all students for their active participation.
