The IQAC Committeeorganized Faculty Orientation Program on “DataAnalytics -with CentreforStatistics–” on 10th August 2022 at 2 pm @ LH:11.
IQAC Coordinator Dr.R.Selvakumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies initiated by inviting Dr. D. Francis Xavier Christopher, Principal, SRM Trichy Arts and Science College to deliver welcome address.
The Principal welcomed the gathering and honoured the resource person Dr.M.Bagavandas, Head, Centre of Statistics SRMMIST KTR, Chennai.
The Resource Person Dr. M. Bagavandas, presented a detailed note on
- The importance of research in our life
- The use of research in public welfare
- How to prepare a research report
- Services provided by the Centre of Statistics, SRMIST.
More over the presentation covered primary purpose of the basic research, methodology, hypothesis, computational knowledge, documentation, interpretation and evaluation of data, the importance of using appropriate statistical tools.
The program was handled for the Teaching Faculty members of the Institution. Finally, Dr. G. Ilango, VP – Academics proposed vote of thanks.
