WORLD LITERACY DAY CELEBRATIONS

The department of English organized a program to commemorate World Literacy Day at SRM Trichy Arts and Science College on September 8th, 2022. The department of English organized various events. The day began with the signature campaign on the banner posted on the ground floor of the art building, which went on throughout the day students, Professors from various institutions, and nonteaching staff received 443 signatures. Vice Principal Academic Dr. Ilango and Vice Principal Administration Dr. Lawrence Leve inaugurated the signature campaign and released an awareness video. Students Enthusiastically Participated in various competitions like face painting, poster making, and slogan writing. Ms. Vallimalar III B. A Class representative welcomed the gathering. Ms. Ethina. V, Assistant professor, convened the celebration.
