6th Annual Day and Sports Day Celebrations

The 6th Annual day and Sports Day Celebrations of SRM Trichy Arts and Science was held on 16th March,2024  in SRM Auditorium. Dr. G. Ilango Vice-Principal (Administration) delivered the welcome address.  The Audio Visual 6th Annual Report was presented by Dr. D.  Francis Xavier Christopher, Principal, SRM TASC.  The program was presided over by our beloved and Honorable Chairman Dr.R.Shivakumar, and felicitated by respected Director Dr. N. Malmurugan, and respected Deputy Director Dr. N Balasubramanian. The Chief Guest of the Annual Day Mr. Ajay Jayaraj, The Jayaraj Group delivered the Annual Day address. He spoke on the three mantras of Happy Life. 1. Believe in you 2.Believe in each other 3. Believe in God”. Our honorable Chairman Sir shows his kindness and generosity honoring, motivating Students by announcing various scholarship worth in total 3.0 Lakhs for the best special student, best outgoing students of the institution and the departments. Dignitaries felicitated the Faculty and Students for their outstanding achievements in Academics in the following category :

1. Proficiency Awards was distributed to 37 academic achievers
2. Twenty two 100% attendance achievers were appreciated with awards.
3. Winners of the state government Tamil award and active Blood donors from YRC were appreciated for their achievements.
4. Four Best outgoing students of the departments and Best outgoing student (Boy and Girl ) was awarded were selection is based on Academics, Co-curricular, Extra-curricular, character, behavior, attitude, attendance and more a personal interview.
5. Faculty, who achieved 100 % result and best administration in hostel, department and college were appreciated.
6. Three Professors’ published books were released.
7. Mr. Mathew Maximus, a student of III B. Com. CA was honored as a Best Special Student for his Discipline, Punctuality, hardwork, dedication, enthusiasm, obedience towards excellence
8. ‘Sports Day report was presented by the Physical Director Dr. S. Mohan
9. The winners and runners of various sports events were awarded

The program was coordinated by the Committed band of faculty. Parents and nearly 800+ students participated the Annual Day celebration. The vote thanks was proposed by Dr. S. Fabiyola Kavitha, Vice-Principal Academic. Finally, By the Grace of Almighty , the event successfully executed and it came to an end by 1 PM.
