Anti-Ragging Week
As per the direction of UGC and Bharathidasan University , Anti ragging Day / Week activities are planned to be conducted from 12.08.23 to 18.08.23.
Lithography – Say No to Ragging
In connection with Celebration of Anti-Ragging week, The Department of Management Studies of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College organized Lithography – Say No to Ragging on 14th Aug 2023. The Principal, Vice Principal(Administration) and Vice Principal (Academic) insisted not to rag anyone and advised to have good friendship with juniors and make them to enjoy a ragging free campus. The students volunteered and gave their imprint to assure “No Ragging”.
Slogan Writing
The Department of Commerce CA of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College on account of Anti- Ragging Week conducted a slogan writing competition on 14.08.2023. 20 students from various departments were actively participated in the competition. The Convenor of this event Dr. E. Sumidha, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce CA conducted the event successfully with the support of the faculty and students of Commerce CA.
Essay Writing
As per the direction of the Tamil Nadu Government and Bharathidasan University, SRM Trichy Arts and Science College, the Department of English organised, The Essay Writing competition on 14.08.23 in the Lecture Hall @ 01.30 p.m. Participants have written an essay on the topic “RAGGING BREAKS THE LIVES”. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition which was conducted by the Department of English.
Poster Making
The Department of Commerce of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College on account of Anti-Ragging Week conducted STAR 2K23 Stand Together for Anti Ragging Poster Making competition on 18.08.2023. 20 students from various departments were actively participated in the competition. The Department of Commerce conducted the event successfully with the support of the faculty and students of Commerce.
Logo Creation
In connection with Celebration of Anti-Ragging week, The Department of Computer Science organized Logo Creation – Wise up Raise up against the Ragging on 16.08 2023. The management insisted the students not to involve in any kind of Ragging issues. 25 Students from various departments actively participated and created the logo on their own ideas.
Flash Mob & Anti-Ragging Anthem
எஸ் ஆர் எம் திருச்சி கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரியில் 12 .08. 2023 முதல் 18. 08. 2023 வரை பகடி வதைக்கு எதிராக(Anti ragging) பல்கலைக்கழக மானியக் குழுவின் அறிவுறுத்தலின்படி பாரதிதாசன் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் வழிகாட்டுதலின்படி நமது கல்லூரியில் பல்வேறு போட்டிகள் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றது.இன்று தமிழ்த் துறை சார்பாக சக மனிதன் என்ற தலைப்பில் கவிதை எழுதும் போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. 20-க்கும் மேலான மாணவர்கள் இதில் கலந்து கொண்டனர் நிகழ்ச்சியை தமிழ்த்துறை உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் என். கல்யாணி அவர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார். மகாகவி பாரதி தமிழ் மன்றத்தைச் சேர்ந்த பொறுப்பாளர்கள் மாணவர் ஆகாஷ் முகமது அப்துல்லா ஸ்ரீ ஹரி மற்றும் ராஜலட்சுமி ஆகியோர் இந்நிகழ்விற்கு உறுதுணை புரிந்தனர் அவர்களுக்கு தமிழ் துறை சார்பாக நன்றிகளை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
As part of Anti-Ragging Week, a flash mob was organized at SRM TASC block entrance on August 18, 2023, at 12:30 PM. The event was convened by Ms. W. Rini Valentina from the Department of English. The programme was witnessed by Vice Principal – Administration, Vice Principal – Academic, Teaching and Non-teaching staff and students. The flash mob, featuring 25 students successfully captured the attention of the audience about anti-ragging campaign. Staff and Students stood out to watch the performance, which were accompanied by thought-provoking banners and posters. Around 500 students enjoyed the show and got enlightened about the negative impacts of ragging. It successfully highlighted the importance of mutual respect and camaraderie within the campus community.
