The Department of Computer Science & Management Studies jointly organised a debate on the Title “Social Media a Boon or Bane on 14.02.23 at 11.10 am in seminar Hall. Six Students (M.Rakshana IIIB.Sc.CS, R.Jayavarthini  III-B.Sc.CS, D.Raviprasad,       IIIB.Sc.-CS ,P.L.Siddeshwaran III-B.Sc.CS , A.Atchaya I-B.Sc.CS and S.Harivarshini          II-B.Sc.CS) from Computer Science department argued for the title and six students from Management Studies(V.Vimal III -BBA. B.Muralikrishnan III -BBA, B.Subalakshmi           II- BBA,  G.Sakthivel II -BBA, S.Livina, I- BBA and S.Sathyakalesh I-BBA) defended against the topic. The students with full of enthusiasm shared their view points. The students discoursed the positive and the negative side of social media with real life incidents and Statistical Facts. Principal Dr.D.F.X.Christopher and Vice Principal, Academic Dr.G.Ilango presided the function and Ms.Ethina, Assistant Professor, Department English acted as the judge for the debate. She concluded the session by leaving the judgement in the hands of young minds. She continued by saying that it is up to the individual how they utilise social media.
