GUEST LECTURE ON CONVENTIONAL & CONTEMPORARY COST CONTROL PRACTICES
The Department of Commerce, SRMTASC organized a guest lecture on “Conventional & Contemporary Cost Control Practices” on 9th January 2023 at 2.00 pm at seminar hall. Dr.N.Ramya, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce(UAP), National College, Trichy was the resource person.

Dr.D.Francis Xavier Christopher, Principal, SRM Trichy Arts & Science College, delivered the presendential address .
Dr.G.Ilango, VP-Academic and Dr.S.Lawrencelewe, VP-Admin sir felicitated the gathering.
Dr.M.Nirmal, Course Co-ordinator of Commerce Department Co-Ordinated the guest lecture. Mrs.S.Seetha Lakshmi Organising secretary gave an introduction about the resource person.
The resource person, Dr.N.Ramya, delivered a lecture on “Conventional & Contemporary Cost Control Practices”. She explained about Lean Accounting and basic 10 tools from lean accounting. The session was so interactive by conducting aptitude tests for the students and they were given prizes.
The session ended with the vote of thanks delivered by R.Vinotha of III B.Com B
