A four days free online summer course was organized by the Department of Computer Science for +2 Students and College Students. The aim of this program is to inculcate the recent tools and application software that are used to develop a software project. All the four department faculties were acted as resource person for this summer course. There were 872 registrations and every day around 250 participants have attended the program.
On the first day Dr.S.Padmapriya delivered a talk on the Internet of things and she explained the types of sensors used in IoT Projects. She also demonstrated the Smart Irrigation System Project. And also she explained the roles of Cloud computing in IoT and the skills required to become an IoT Developer.
On the second day, Dr.M. Chitra Devi delivered a talk on python. She demonstrated the working environment of python. She explained the basic syntax and control structures, List and Tuples in Python. She also demonstrated the same with simple coding.
On the third day, Dr.P.Periaysamy delivered a speech on Data science. He also explained the importance of learning Data Science. He explained the importance of data and how it can be explored for research and data analysis purposes.
On the fourth day, Dr.P.Thangavel delivered a speech on Youtube Monetization. He demonstrated how to create a youtube channel how it can be effectively utilized for revenue generation in a live manner.
Motivational Talk on Paving Your Way to Success was organized by the Department of Computer Science for the +2 Students and College students. 270 Students were registered from various Schools and colleges in a different part of the state. The Speaker discussed setting smart goals, internal and External Motivation, Locus of control. There were around
