Department of Commerce with Computer Application organized the Industry Expert Talk on “Recent changes in banking, Theory Vs. Practical ” on 28.01.2023 @ Seminar Hall @10.00 A.M.

The session was presided over by the Principal. Ms.N. Nachammai of III B.Com CA delivered the Welcome Address.

Presidential Address was given by Principal Dr. D. Francis Xavier Christopher sir.   Vice Principal(Academic) Dr G. Ilangosir, and Vice Principal (Admin) Dr. S. LawranceLevesir felicitated the gathering.

Dr. S. Kanchidevi, Head & Assistant Professor of Department of Commerce CA introduced the guest to the gathering.

Mr. K. Palanivel, Branch Manager, Mettupalayam, Coimbatore was the Key note speaker of the Seminar. He has given many ideas to the students  to the  opportunities in  banking sector and explained in detail about subsidies given by the State Government and Central Government for the budding entrepreneurs. II B.Com CA and III B.Com CA students were actively participated in the seminar. Students interacted with the speaker and they asked their queries and got clarifications .

Ms. Brindha and Mr. Harikaran of III B.Com CA done the Master of Ceremony and Mr. Raj Kumar of III B.Com CA proposed the Vote of Thanks.

Dr. S. Kanchi Devi, Head & Assistant Professor was the Convenor and. Ms. S. Punithavathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce with CA, SRMTASC was the Co – Convenor of the event.
