Seminar on Basics and recent changes in GST

The Big League Association of the Department of Commerce with Computer Application, SRM Trichy Arts and Science College organized the Seminar on 19.10.2023 at 10.00 am at the Seminar Hall. The session was presided over by the Principal and Vice principal. Dr.D. Francis Xavier  Christopher  Principal delivered the Presidential address,  Dr.G.Ilango Vice Principal, Administration of SRMTASC felicitated the gathering. Dr.S.Kanchidevi, Head & Assistant Professor of Commerce CA organised the event and  introduced the guest to the gathering. The guest was honoured by the Principal and Vice Principal. The Resource person of the workshop is Mr. S. Sridhar,  Advocate and Tax Consultant , Trichy.  The resource person made an insightful presentation on the basics of GST and its importance to business owners and individuals. At the end of the session the students who attended the seminar gained a lot of valuable knowledge about GST, including its implementation and application. GST is a complex tax system, but it is important for businesses and individuals to understand it in order to comply with the law and avoid penalties.
