Workshop on A,B,C of Grooming

On March 6th, 2024, the C.K. Prahalad Management Association run by the Department of Management Studies of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College, Trichy, hosted a workshop centered on the ABCs of Grooming (Appear, Body Language, Communicate). Ms. Hem Saundhariya of II BBA took charge as the master of ceremony, while Mr. Navin of II BBA warmly welcomed the attendees. Dr. D. Francis Xavier Christopher, the Principal, stressed the vital importance of dress code, body language, and effective verbal and non-verbal communication in fostering personal and professional success. Dr. G. Ilango, Vice-Principal Administration emphasized the pivotal role of appearance in nurturing self-respect and how it’s reflected in one’s demeanor and prompt dress code. Dr. S.Fabiyola Kavitha, Vice-Principal Academic, highlighted the major role of appearance and dress code in securing job opportunities.  Mr. A.B. Vasan, Campaign Manager at Gillette Tamil Nadu P&G Ltd., shared insights into the significance of Appearance, Body Language, and Communication (A, B, C), accompanied by a pertinent video presentation. Mr. Raja Kabir, another Campaign Manager, emphasized the criticality of grooming for career advancement.  The workshop, attended by over 250 male students from various departments. Dr. R. Selvakumari, the Course Coordinator, recorded gratitude to all participants, organizers, and speakers for their invaluable contributions to the event’s success. The faculty members of the department executed the event successfully.
