FOP on “Writing Research Proposals for Funded projects”

               One day of the Faculty Orientation program on, “Writing Research Proposals for Funded projects”, for the SRM Trichy Arts and Science faculty, was held on 14.07.2022.

Dr .D. Francis Xavier Christopher, Principal of SRMTASC, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest.  Dr.R.Krishnamoorthy, Dean of Academics and Research, SRM Group of Institutions, Trichy addressed the professors on research writing and funding projects.  He briefed on the course file, lecture plan, and evaluation scheme. He also insisted on maintaining the minutes of the committee meeting. He advised to prepare test analysis and supporting documents for learning with demonstrations. Further, he added to have content beyond the syllabus and to obtain student feedback. He also recommended having particular coaching for slow learners and having counselling sessions often. Dr.R.Krishnamoorthy also spoke on technical manuscript writing and its process. The program was coordinated by Research committee members and headed by Research convenor Dr. S. Fabiyola Kavitha.
