The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers B.E. Degree programme in EEE as well as M.E. Degree programme in Embedded System Technology. The Department has secured permanent affiliation with Anna University and Accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The Department is well equipped with the state of the art laboratories and research facilities.The Department is recognized as a Research Centre for PhD/M.S (by research) by Anna University, Chennai. The Research work is being carried out in the areas like Deregulated Power System, Power Quality, Special Electrical Machines, FACTS Devices and Wireless Networks. The Department also provides consultancy services on Energy Audit to Industries and Institutions.
